East Londoners, it has finally happened. After years of corporate brands moving into Shoreditch, boutique hotel, The Hoxton Hotel, has ventured into the realm of West London, by opening a new hotel in Holborn. If like me, you swing both ways, and travel from East to West, then this is officially your new hangout – and its right in the middle of the Central Line! AMAzing right? Located in that desolate stretch between Holborn and Oxford Street, you will find the Hoxton Hotel, and most importantly, CHEEKY Parlour.
If you’re ever running around town, and looking for somewhere to get your makeup or nails done, whilst sipping a cocktail, this is the place for you. The brand is the sister company Cowshed, which you know I love, but Cheeky has a completely different, fun vibe, and the neon signs will still make you feel like you’re in some basement bar on Kingsland Road! Cheeky has its own nail polish collection (30 in total) and also a range of 19 freshly scented products across body care, hair care and cosmetics.
Beauty products…
Nails…
I also got my nails ‘did’… couldn’t resist!
So ladies, no more excuses for doing your makeup on the tube… head to the Hoxton Hotel now, and leave your boyfriends in the bar, they wont be disappointed either.

I live in London and constantly inspired by beauty, fashion, music, film, art, literature, my job (makeup artist agent), nature, the universe, and the wonderful and eclectic people in my life - my friends and family. I am a serial hoarder of beauty products, candles, vintage teacups, lingerie, crystals, jewellery, charms, shoes...anything shiny really. I love fashion of course, but this little space is about all things beauty. Im a magpie, obsessed with sunsets, a gym addict, faux bleach blonde, indie chick at heart, and sometimes I like to pretend I'm a Disney Princess. My opinions are honest, and these are my own views. I only review products I use and actually like. Feel free to comment on any posts or get in touch if you have any questions.
